The company is embarking on its first expansion of gaming by way of Shippensburg some 40 miles southwest of the Harrisburg capital. Parx, owned and operated by privately held Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, runs its flagship Parx Casino north of Philadelphia in Bensalem. Parx Casino Shippensburg is set to become the fourth Category 4 “mini-casino” to open in Pennsylvania come February 2023.
